Flatland Ag, Inc. is USDA certified for GAP (Good Agricultural Practices), GHP (Good Handling Practices) and harmonized standards with field operations and harvesting as well as post harvest operations for onions and potatoes. We are audited by the USDA per operational season for onions and potatoes. We continually comply and meet all requirements of the Produce GAP Harmonized Food Safety Standard.
Flatland Ag, Inc. also meets requirements for the PSA (Produce Safety Alliance) and FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act ), PSR (Produce Safety Rule) and has been inspected by the FDA Produce Safety Program. We have also participated in the “On-Farm Readiness Review” program.
Barbara Peed is the food safety manager for Flatland Ag, Inc. and has completed the PSA grower training course.
